The West Central Railway (WCR) has announced the invitation of bids for the construction of quarters, offices, and other essential buildings as part of the Ramganjmandi-Bhopal new Broad Gauge (BG) rail line project in the Bhopal Division. This ambitious project is set to enhance connectivity in the region.
The scope of work includes constructing residential quarters, Officers’ Rest Houses (ORH), office buildings, an overhead water tank, and comprehensive water supply arrangements, along with other miscellaneous structures. These facilities will be developed between Biaora and Habibganj in Madhya Pradesh. The project has been allocated a budget of ₹82.35 crore and is expected to be completed within a timeline of 24 months from the appointed date.
The bid submission deadline is set for 29 January 2025. Interested parties are encouraged to participate in this large-scale infrastructure development project, which is anticipated to boost the overall efficiency of the railway system in the region.
This initiative reflects WCR’s commitment to enhancing infrastructure and facilitating improved facilities for passengers and employees. The development will also support the economic growth of the area by strengthening transportation links and creating job opportunities during the construction phase.
