PepsiCo India has strengthened its manufacturing footprint by inaugurating a new ₹1,266 crore manufacturing facility in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh. The investment is one of the company’s largest manufacturing projects in India and reflects its long-term commitment to expanding production capacity and supporting the country’s growing food and beverage market.
The newly commissioned manufacturing plant will produce beverage concentrates for PepsiCo’s flagship brands, helping improve domestic production capabilities and enhance supply chain efficiency. Equipped with advanced manufacturing technologies and sustainability-focused processes, the facility is designed to increase operational efficiency while meeting rising consumer demand across India.
The investment is part of PepsiCo India’s broader plan to invest ₹5,700 crore in the country by 2030, reinforcing its confidence in India’s expanding consumer market and manufacturing ecosystem.
Beyond manufacturing, PepsiCo continues to strengthen its agricultural network in Madhya Pradesh through its collaborative farming programme. The initiative supports more than 2,000 farmers by promoting the sustainable cultivation of chip-grade potatoes, creating stronger linkages between agriculture and food processing.
The new manufacturing facility is expected to generate employment, improve local industrial infrastructure, and contribute to regional economic growth. It also highlights PepsiCo India’s focus on sustainable manufacturing, local sourcing, and long-term investment in India’s rapidly growing food and beverage industry.
