HSCL Invites Tenders for Bank of Baroda Commercial Building Project in Bengaluru

Date:

Hindustan Steelworks Construction Limited (HSCL) has issued a nationwide tender for the construction of a new commercial building and associated development works for Bank of Baroda at Financial City, Hardware Park in Bengaluru, Karnataka. Appointed as the project management consultant (PMC) by the Bank, HSCL will oversee the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) of the facility, which comprises a basement plus three upper floors designed to house banking halls, office spaces and support amenities.

With an estimated project cost of ₹74.19 crore, the scope encompasses structural concrete works, architectural finishes, interior fit-outs, electrical and mechanical installations, as well as external development including landscaping, parking areas and utility connections. HSCL is inviting bids from contractors with demonstrable experience in delivering large-scale commercial projects under EPC contracts and adherence to strict quality and safety standards.

The work is to be completed within 24 months from the date of award, with clear milestones for foundation completion, structural framing, services installation and final commissioning. As PMC, HSCL will conduct continuous monitoring—from material procurement and workmanship audits to regulatory compliance and final handover documentation.

Interested bidders must submit comprehensive technical and financial proposals by 23 July 2025. Submissions will be evaluated on technical competence, financial robustness and project execution strategy. The assignment underscores Bank of Baroda’s commitment to expanding its operational footprint and HSCL’s standing as a leading EPC and consultancy services provider in India. The project is expected to enhance the Bank’s service delivery and contribute positively to the region’s commercial infrastructure growth.
