L&T Expands Road Equipment Portfolio Through BOMAG Partnership

Date:

Larsen & Toubro (L&T) has partnered with France-based FAYAT Road Equipment to market and support BOMAG’s specialised road construction machinery in India, strengthening its presence in the country’s growing infrastructure equipment market.

Under the partnership, L&T’s Construction and Mining Machinery business will handle the marketing, sales, after-sales services and supply of spare parts for BOMAG equipment. The collaboration combines BOMAG’s specialised road construction technologies with L&T’s established customer network and nationwide service capabilities.

BOMAG, a Germany-based brand within FAYAT Road Equipment, manufactures machinery and technologies used across road construction, maintenance and related infrastructure applications. Its addition to L&T’s portfolio is expected to broaden the range of equipment available to customers working across different stages of road development and maintenance.

The partnership was announced on August 26 and comes as India continues to invest heavily in highways and wider infrastructure development. Beyond equipment availability, the arrangement is expected to strengthen customer access to technical support, servicing and spare parts throughout the operating life of the machinery.

For L&T, the agreement represents another step in expanding its road machinery offering. By integrating BOMAG’s specialised equipment into its existing portfolio, the engineering major aims to address a broader range of road construction and maintenance requirements while leveraging its extensive distribution and product support network across India.
