The Bihar government has unveiled a major industrial and logistics development plan aimed at boosting investments, enhancing infrastructure, and generating employment across the state. Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary has directed officials to establish 11 mega industrial parks and create a 50,000-acre land bank to meet the needs of future industrial and logistics projects.
The initiative is expected to improve Bihar’s industrial ecosystem by ensuring the availability of land for manufacturing units, warehouses, logistics hubs, and other large-scale developments. In addition, the government plans to develop food parks in all 38 districts, supporting agro-processing industries and strengthening supply chain networks throughout the state.
During a review meeting with the Industries Department, the Chief Minister emphasized the importance of industrialization and efficient logistics infrastructure in driving Bihar’s economic growth. He instructed officials to streamline approvals, improve transparency, and make it easier for investors to set up businesses in the state.
The ambitious plan is designed to attract domestic and international investments, encourage entrepreneurship, and create thousands of job opportunities. By focusing on industrial expansion and logistics infrastructure, Bihar aims to position itself as a key manufacturing and distribution hub, contributing significantly to India’s economic development and long-term growth.
