Mivi Inaugurates Rs 200 Crore R&D and Manufacturing Facility in Hyderabad

Date:

Home-grown consumer electronics brand Mivi has opened a Rs 200 crore integrated research, development and manufacturing facility in Telangana, marking a major step in its domestic production journey.

Located at Fab City in Hyderabad, the new facility is designed to strengthen the company’s in-house manufacturing capabilities and support the expansion of its electronics product range. The unit will be capable of producing five lakh earbuds and 75,000 soundbars every month, significantly scaling up Mivi’s output.

Beyond production, the facility is set to make a notable contribution to the local economy. It is expected to create employment for around 2,500 people, supporting industrial growth and job creation in the region. The investment has been funded through Avishakaran Industries, Mivi’s parent company.

The facility will cater to manufacturing across Mivi’s entire consumer electronics portfolio. A key focus will be on building stronger domestic design capabilities, aligning the company’s growth with the government’s Make in India and Aatmanirbhar Bharat initiatives.

With this integrated setup bringing research, development and manufacturing under one roof, Mivi aims to reinforce its position as a homegrown electronics player and reduce reliance on imports while catering to growing consumer demand in India.
