Power Mech Secures ₹164.63 Crore Order from BHEL for DVC Koderma Thermal Power Project

Power Mech Projects Ltd. has bagged a significant ₹164.63 crore contract from Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd. (BHEL) for the 1,600 MW DVC Koderma Thermal Power Station Phase-II project.

The Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) contract includes design, engineering, supply, mandatory spares, civil works, erection, and commissioning of the project. The massive undertaking consists of two 800 MW units, aimed at boosting power generation capacity in the region.

As per the terms, Power Mech Projects will complete the contract within 30 months from the issuance of the Letter of Award (LoA). This project marks another milestone for the company in the thermal power sector, reinforcing its expertise in large-scale power infrastructure development.

DVC Koderma Thermal Power Station Phase-II is expected to enhance energy supply and contribute to India’s growing demand for electricity. With this order, Power Mech further strengthens its presence in the power sector, aligning with the government’s vision for infrastructure development and energy security.

The collaboration with BHEL highlights Power Mech’s technical prowess and execution capabilities, positioning it as a key player in India’s energy sector.
