Greenfield Airport Project Set to Transform Kota

A significant update in Kota’s construction industry from the last week of October 2024 is the ongoing development of the new Greenfield Airport. The project spans 440.086 hectares and is expected to enhance the city’s connectivity and regional growth. The airport, which will be equipped with modern air facilities, is anticipated to be operational by 2026. The project is a collaboration between the Airports Authority of India (AAI), the Rajasthan government, and the Urban Development Department, aiming to boost tourism, education, and commerce in the region. The detailed project report (DPR) is currently being prepared.
