Expert Opinion: Proman’s Vision for EXCON 2025

Date:

Featuring insights from Mr. R. S. Raghavan, Managing Director, Proman Infrastructure Services Pvt. Ltd.

Proman Infrastructure Services Pvt. Ltd., led by Managing Director Mr. R. S. Raghavan, has been a pioneering force in India’s crushing, screening and M-Sand ecosystem for over two decades. With deep global collaborations and a strong reputation for delivering advanced, reliable and sustainable material-processing solutions, Proman is positioned as one of the most influential players entering EXCON 2025. This year, the company’s spotlight will be on the Proman Sand Optimiser, a waterless, dust-less, compliance-forward M-Sand innovation set to reshape India’s sand and aggregates industry.

Below is the complete questionnaire answered by Mr. Raghavan:

How important do you think EXCON 2025 is for the future of India’s construction & infrastructure sector?

  • EXCON 2025 is South Asia’s largest construction equipment exhibition, with over 1,400 exhibitors and more than 80,000 business visitors, making it the key stage for technologies that will drive highways, metros, housing and mining in this decade.
  • With India’s construction equipment industry targeting strong growth and infrastructure-heavy government spending, solutions that improve productivity, sustainability and compliance, such as waterless and dustless manufactured sand, will be central to policy and project execution discussions at EXCON.

From your perspective, how do you think EXCON 2025 will impact the construction equipment market in 2026–27?

  • EXCON traditionally sets buying and technology trends for the next 12–24 months, with previous editions generating large deal volumes and influencing fleet modernization and technology adoption decisions.
  • By showcasing a no-water, dustless sand solution that also reduces dependence on natural sand and quarry licenses, Proman can help shift demand towards integrated M-sand and aggregate plants, creating a stronger pull for advanced crushing, screening and sand-making equipment in 2026–27.

How do you think EXCON 2025 will help your business earn?

  • EXCON brings concentrated access to EPC contractors, ready-mix players, miners, quarry owners and infrastructure developers, exactly the customer base that buys Proman’s crushers and M-sand solutions.
  • Positioning the Proman Sand Optimiser as a ‘game-changing,’ waterless, dust-controlled, license-light solution can convert policy and compliance pain points into direct sales discussions and generate leads, improving lifecycle revenue.

How do you feel EXCON has evolved from 1999 to 2025 in terms of scale and industry impact?

  • From its early editions around 2000 to the 13th edition in 2025, EXCON has grown into a 300,000+ sq. m multi-country platform recognized as South Asia’s largest construction equipment fair, with strong participation from global and Indian OEMs.
  • The focus has clearly shifted from just ‘big machines’ to technology, sustainability, digitalization and alternative materials, exactly where Proman’s manufactured sand and advanced crushing solutions fit. This allows the company to present the Sand Optimiser as a next-generation sustainability and compliance tool, not just another machine.
