The long-awaited NH-148A high-speed corridor, which will link the Delhi-Noida-Direct (DND) Flyway to Sohna and the upcoming Noida International Airport in Jewar, is now in its final stage of construction and is expected to be completed within the next four months.
Stretching 91 km, the corridor is set to significantly decongest some of Delhi’s busiest highways and offer faster connectivity to major destinations such as Ghaziabad, Faridabad, Jaipur, Mumbai, and Kolkata. Officials confirmed that key components—including the crucial ramp at the DND Flyway and an architecturally advanced arch bridge over the Agra Canal—are nearing completion.
Built at an estimated cost of ₹7,084 crore, NH-148A features six-lane access-controlled sections, long elevated stretches, modern flyovers, and multiple underpasses designed to improve traffic flow and reduce travel time.
Once operational, the project is expected to transform mobility across the National Capital Region (NCR), easing long-distance travel and strengthening connectivity to the upcoming Jewar Airport, which is poised to become a major aviation hub.
Authorities remain confident that the corridor will act as a vital infrastructure upgrade, enhancing regional development and supporting the growing transportation demands of North India.
