Raj Shyama Construction Wins Rs 305.01 Crore Bid for Tourism Road in Uttarakhand

Raj Shyama Construction has been declared the lowest bidder (L1) for the development of a tourism road from Koti Colony to Dobra Chanti in Uttarakhand. The project, valued at Rs 305.01 crore, is part of the Sustainable, Inclusive, Climate, Resilient, and Tourism Development at Tehri Lake Area Project, backed by the Asian Development Bank (ADB).

Spanning 15.77 km, the new road aims to enhance tourism infrastructure in the region under the Uttarakhand Tourism Development Board. The initiative is expected to improve connectivity to the Tehri Lake area, a key attraction in Uttarakhand known for its adventure tourism, water sports, and scenic landscapes.

The project aligns with the state government’s vision to boost eco-tourism and sustainable development, ensuring better accessibility for tourists while considering environmental concerns. With Raj Shyama Construction securing the bid, the project is expected to be executed efficiently, contributing to economic growth and employment opportunities in the region.
