Fixxly Raises $5.5 Million to Transform Construction Material Deliveries with AI

Date:

Construction technology startup Fixxly has secured $5.5 million in seed funding in a round led by Accel, Fireside Ventures and Lightspeed India Partners. The Bengaluru-based startup plans to use the investment to strengthen its AI-powered technology platform and expand operations ahead of its commercial launch scheduled for September 1.

Founded by Shezan Bhojani and Sachith Varma, Fixxly is building an AI-driven quick commerce platform designed to solve one of the construction industry’s biggest challenges—delayed access to essential building materials. The platform aims to deliver products such as plywood, paint, electrical supplies, plumbing materials, hardware and lighting to construction sites in as little as 30 minutes through a network of strategically located fulfillment hubs.

The startup primarily serves contractors, electricians, plumbers, carpenters, interior designers and homeowners, helping them avoid costly project delays caused by missing materials. By leveraging AI for inventory management and order fulfillment, Fixxly seeks to streamline the fragmented building materials supply chain and improve efficiency across the construction ecosystem.

The company will initially launch its services in Bengaluru before expanding to other cities across India. With investors increasingly backing technology-led solutions for traditional industries, Fixxly’s funding highlights the growing opportunity for AI-powered innovation in construction logistics. If successful, the startup could redefine how building materials are sourced and delivered, bringing the speed and convenience of quick commerce to one of India’s largest industries.
