Godrej Properties Secures 7.8-Acre Land in Hyderabad, Targets ₹3,800 Crore Returns

Date:

Hyderabad, August 21, 2025 — In a high-stakes e‑auction conducted by the Telangana Housing Board, Godrej Properties emerged as the top bidder for a 7.8‑acre residential land parcel in the high-demand Kukatpally (KPHB) area, paying ₹547.75 crore—well above the ₹40 crore per acre starting price.

Nestled near the city’s IT hub of HITEC City, the site offers exceptional connectivity and is poised for development into premium housing projects. The company projects potential revenue of around ₹3,800 crore from the venture.

Gaurav Pandey, MD & CEO of Godrej Properties, emphasized Hyderabad’s growing significance, noting that Kukatpally aligns perfectly with the city’s upward growth trajectory. This acquisition follows successful launches like Godrej Madison Avenue in Kokapet and Regal Pavilion in Rajendranagar, strengthening the firm’s local footprint.

The Telangana Housing Board will proceed with the allotment process. Meanwhile, investor optimism is riding high, with analysts eyeing positive impacts on share performance fueled by the project’s robust earning potential.
