The Tamil Nadu Real Estate Regulatory Authority (TNRERA) has launched a dedicated online portal that allows homebuyers to access real-time, project‑specific information for all RERA-registered real estate developments in the state.
This digital repository enables buyers to search projects by name, promoter, location or registration number, displaying critical data such as regulatory approvals, estimated completion dates, promoter details, project status, and construction progress. Users can also view the status of registered complaints and access relevant legal compliance documents directly from the platform.
The initiative follows TNRERA’s broader transparency strategy, which includes mandatory 2×4-foot display boards at all project sites. These boards must show promoter info, registration numbers, expected completion dates, and the official TNRERA website, with photographic certification required alongside Form‑C submissions.
Buyers will now benefit from unprecedented clarity—no need to rely on fragmented disclosures or trust promotions. The platform enhances buyer confidence, reduces information asymmetry, and streamlines regulatory visibility. For promoters and developers, it offers a structured framework that rewards timely disclosures and credible practices.
By transforming how property data is accessed and verified, Tamil Nadu RERA is setting a benchmark for real estate governance, further bolstering consumer rights and accountability in the state’s housing market.
