Vikram Solar Secures 326.625 MW Order from GIPCL for Khavda RE Park

Kolkata-based solar module manufacturer Vikram Solar has bagged a significant order of 326.625 MW from Gujarat Industries Power Company Ltd. (GIPCL) for the prestigious Khavda Renewable Energy Park in Gujarat. This development brings Vikram Solar’s total contribution to India’s renewable energy capacity to approximately 1.3 GW, reinforcing its role in the country’s green energy transition.

The high-efficiency photovoltaic (PV) modules are slated for delivery in FY26 and will support India’s broader goal of achieving energy security and long-term environmental sustainability. With this deal, Vikram Solar’s cumulative supply to the Khavda project has reached around 577 MW, marking a deepening strategic partnership between the two entities.

The Khavda Renewable Energy Park stands as one of India’s largest and most ambitious renewable infrastructure initiatives. Vikram Solar, known for its high-performance modules and presence in 39 countries, continues to strengthen its global and domestic footprint.

This order adds to Vikram Solar’s growing portfolio and underscores its importance in supporting India’s gigawatt-scale solar ambitions. As the nation accelerates its renewable energy deployment, collaborations with state-run enterprises like GIPCL place Vikram Solar at the forefront of driving the energy transformation.
