The Bharatmala project, which aims to build over 34,800 km of highways across India, is a major step toward strengthening logistics and reducing travel time. With a strategic focus on boosting trade and improving transport efficiency, the initiative is expected to significantly contribute to economic growth.
Gadkari emphasized that the government is committed to ensuring high-quality infrastructure development, with advanced technology and sustainable construction practices. The ongoing construction is also expected to generate employment and attract investment in the logistics and transport sectors.
