Afcons Infrastructure, the flagship company of the Shapoorji Pallonji Group, has emerged as the lowest bidder (L1) for two critical Pune Ring Road (East) packages. The Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation (MSRDC) floated tenders for these projects, valued at ₹4,787.20 crore.

The packages, PRR E5 and PRR E7, involve constructing access-controlled roadways to enhance connectivity in Pune. PRR E5, costing ₹2,718.50 crore, spans from Valati in Taluka Haveli to Sonori in Taluka Purandar, while PRR E7, valued at ₹2,068.70 crore, links Garade in Taluka Purandar to Shiware in Taluka Bhor. Both projects will be executed on an engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) basis, with a completion timeline of 36 months.

This win reinforces Afcons Infrastructure’s robust reputation in delivering large-scale infrastructure projects and highlights its competitive edge in the Indian infrastructure sector. The Pune Ring Road project is a key development initiative aimed at improving access, reducing congestion, and boosting economic growth in the region.

Afcons’ bid victory further cements its position as a leader in executing complex projects, driving forward India’s ambitious infrastructure development goals.
