Kerala Chief Minister V.D. Satheesan has urged his Tamil Nadu counterpart to ease restrictions affecting the transport of construction materials between the two neighbouring states. The appeal comes amid concerns that delays in the movement of essential materials such as M-sand, manufactured aggregates and other building supplies are disrupting infrastructure projects and increasing construction costs across Kerala.
