India’s Branded Residences Market Reaches ₹92,000 Crore

Date:

India has emerged as the largest branded residences market in the Asia-Pacific region by value, with projects estimated at around ₹92,000 crore, highlighting the rapid growth of luxury residential real estate in the country.

Branded residences typically combine premium homes with the service standards, amenities and brand identity associated with luxury hospitality or global lifestyle brands. Their growing popularity reflects increasing demand from affluent homebuyers seeking exclusivity, high-quality services and professionally managed properties.

The segment is expanding beyond India’s traditional luxury housing markets. Developers are increasingly targeting buyers in major metropolitan areas as well as emerging leisure and second-home destinations, creating new opportunities for branded residential developments.

Delhi-NCR has emerged as a major centre for branded residences, with a strong concentration of projects, while other key cities and lifestyle destinations are also witnessing growing developer interest.

The expansion of this category also signals a broader transformation in India’s premium housing market. Luxury buyers are increasingly looking beyond location and apartment size, placing greater emphasis on brand association, lifestyle experiences, hospitality-style services and exclusive amenities.

With projects worth approximately ₹92,000 crore, India’s rise to the top of the Asia-Pacific branded residences market demonstrates how quickly luxury housing preferences are evolving.
