The global cement-based grouts market is entering a period of sustained growth, driven by increasing construction activity across semiconductor manufacturing, data centres, industrial automation and infrastructure projects. According to the latest IndexBox analysis, global demand for cement-based grouts is projected to grow at a 4–6% CAGR between 2026 and 2035, reflecting rising investment in precision manufacturing and large-scale infrastructure.
Semiconductor fabrication plants and data centres are emerging as important demand drivers. These facilities require specialised grouts for equipment alignment, vibration damping, thermal stability and structural support. The semiconductor and precision manufacturing segment currently accounts for an estimated 28% of end-use demand and is expected to grow faster than the overall market.
High-performance grout formulations containing polymer modifiers and specialised additives are also gaining traction. This segment is estimated to represent 25–35% of global market value and is growing at around 6–8% annually, outpacing standard-grade products.
Asia-Pacific remains the dominant market, accounting for roughly half of global consumption, supported by strong electronics manufacturing and infrastructure investment. North America and Europe are also expected to see steady demand from semiconductor manufacturing, data centres, renewable energy and grid upgrades.
However, manufacturers face challenges including raw material price volatility, lengthy technical qualification processes and competition from epoxy and resin-based alternatives.
Overall, continued investment in high-tech manufacturing and infrastructure is expected to keep the cement-based grouts market on a positive growth trajectory through 2035.
