The Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) has approved two major infrastructure initiatives focused on boosting logistics and industrial development near the upcoming Noida International Airport. The decisions were taken during the authority’s 93rd board meeting chaired by CEO RK Singh.
A significant approval includes the establishment of a 200-acre multimodal logistics park at Tappal-Bajna, which will be allocated through an e-auction process to attract investment and strengthen the region’s logistics network. YEIDA has also planned an extensive 8,000-hectare industrial node south of the airport, with the appointment of a master plan consultant currently underway.
The authority aims to position the Yamuna Expressway region as a premier industrial and logistics hub by developing world-class infrastructure and encouraging business growth. During the meeting, YEIDA reviewed the progress of industrial plots and confirmed that production has started at 13 units out of 295 large industrial parcels allotted so far.
Additionally, the board approved the YEIDA Corpus Fund Investment Regulation for 2026-27. This dedicated financial mechanism will help ensure continuous maintenance and improvement of essential civic infrastructure, supporting the region’s expanding residential, commercial, and industrial ecosystems.
