Jaypee Infratech, acquired by Suraksha Group through the insolvency resolution process, plans to invest around ₹3,000 crore to complete its stalled housing projects.
Suraksha Group took control of Jaypee Infratech in 2024, after the National Company Law Appellate Tribunal (NCLAT) upheld its resolution plan. Since taking over the company’s operations, Suraksha Group has made significant progress in completing long-delayed residential projects.
So far, the company has completed 84 towers comprising 7,913 housing units out of a total of 159 stalled towers. Around 5,000 units have already been handed over to homebuyers.
The company plans to complete construction of the remaining apartments and hand them over to customers within the September 2028 deadline.
In addition to completing the legacy housing projects, Jaypee Infratech is also planning a major expansion along the Yamuna Expressway. The company has announced plans to develop three new townships, which will collectively cover more than 450 acres.
The investment is expected to accelerate construction, resolve long-pending homebuyer concerns and support Jaypee Infratech’s future development plans.
