The State Bank of India (SBI) has issued a tender inviting bids for the appointment of a Project Management Consultant (PMC) for its Mega Redevelopment of Colony (MRC) project in Nerul, Navi Mumbai. The redevelopment will cover approximately 25 acres and is planned as a major mixed-use development featuring modern high-rise residential and commercial towers.
The project will be executed through the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) model. The appointed PMC will act as SBI’s representative, managing the project from the planning stage through completion. Key responsibilities include project supervision, quality assurance, progress monitoring, coordination with the EPC contractor, and ensuring the project is delivered within the approved timeline and quality standards. The consultant will also provide support during the defect liability period to ensure smooth post-construction operations.
The EPC contractor will be responsible for preparing detailed structural and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) designs, executing procurement and construction activities, and obtaining all required statutory approvals, including no-objection certificates (NOCs), occupancy certificates, and other regulatory clearances.
Interested firms can submit their bids until 12 September 2026, after which SBI will evaluate the proposals and appoint the consultant for this landmark redevelopment project.
