NHAI Introduces Digital Feedback System for National Highway Users

Date:

The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has introduced a new Toll Plaza Feedback feature on the Rajmargyatra mobile app to improve commuter convenience, strengthen public participation and enhance service quality across India’s National Highway network.

The new feature allows highway users to rate their toll plaza experience, report concerns and suggest improvements directly through the application. The initiative aims to help NHAI better understand commuter experiences and identify areas that require attention.

According to the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, users of the FASTag Annual Pass will receive notifications on the Rajmargyatra app after crossing a National Highway toll plaza, inviting them to share their feedback. Other commuters can also access the ‘Toll Plaza Feedback’ option through the app’s menu to submit their responses.

Users can rate their experience, select relevant options and add comments to explain their concerns or suggestions. This provides a convenient digital channel for sharing feedback without relying solely on traditional complaint mechanisms.

The information collected through the feature will help NHAI monitor toll plaza services, identify operational gaps and work towards addressing commuter concerns. The initiative is expected to support better service delivery and contribute to safer, smoother and more convenient highway journeys.

NHAI has encouraged National Highway users to actively participate by sharing their experiences through the app. The initiative reflects the authority’s continued focus on technology-driven solutions and citizen-centric highway management, with the broader objective of making road travel more efficient and responsive to public needs.
