Hikal has commenced commercial production at its dedicated multipurpose manufacturing line in Panoli, Gujarat, marking an important step in the company’s expansion into the global personal care and beauty ingredients market.
The facility, launched in July 2026, has initially begun producing specialty skincare ingredients, with a particular focus on advanced UV filters. The move is part of Hikal’s strategy to diversify its portfolio beyond its traditional business segments and establish a stronger presence in the growing personal care industry.
The company has set an ambitious target for the newly established segment, aiming to generate more than Rs 200 crore in annual revenue by FY2030. The facility is expected to provide Hikal with additional manufacturing capabilities while supporting its plans to serve international markets.
The expansion also reinforces Hikal’s manufacturing presence in Gujarat, while positioning the company to participate in the growing global demand for specialised cosmetic, skincare and personal care ingredients. With its focus on advanced formulations and specialty products, the new facility represents a significant addition to Hikal’s long-term growth strategy.
