Document Crunch, a Trimble company specializing in construction risk management solutions, has introduced what it describes as the industry’s first project-level AI risk intelligence platform. The new solution is designed to help construction teams identify, manage, and track project risks across the entire project lifecycle, from bidding and planning to execution and closeout.
Powered by its proprietary CrunchAI technology and a new agentic layer called Project Assist, the platform analyzes multiple project documents simultaneously rather than reviewing them individually. This enables users to uncover hidden risks, identify scope gaps, automate routine tasks, and generate critical project deliverables such as RFIs, notices, submittals, and redlines.
The platform combines AI-driven risk detection, workflow automation, and project-wide visibility to help teams maintain compliance, improve decision-making, and reduce the likelihood of costly disputes. Built-in workflows and project playbooks also support knowledge sharing and ensure consistency across teams and project stages.
Document Crunch has already been deployed on more than 10,000 construction projects and supports over $350 billion in annual construction volume. The launch marks a significant advancement in the use of artificial intelligence for construction risk management, helping organizations improve efficiency, protect project margins, and enhance overall project outcomes.
