BWH Hotels, the global hospitality chain managing brands like Best Western and SureStay, is set to expand its footprint in India with 21 new hotel constructions. The company is focusing on secondary markets to enhance brand reputation and elevate guest experiences while catering to the rising demand for quality accommodations.
With 28 operational hotels in India, BWH has signed 54 properties and aims to reach 100 hotels within the next five to seven years. The expansion aligns with India’s robust infrastructure growth, which is expected to add 1,00,000 branded rooms by 2029.
CEO Larry Cuculic emphasized India’s importance in the brand’s global strategy, which targets 5,150 hotels worldwide. “Some brands will grow faster than others, but with 78 years of history behind us, we are committed to expanding across every category,” he stated.
By leveraging business travel and emerging hospitality hubs, BWH Hotels aims to strengthen its presence and meet the evolving needs of travelers. The company’s strategic approach to secondary markets will contribute to India’s booming hospitality sector, solidifying its position as a key player in the industry.
