GAP Group has commenced work on Hyatt Place Dholera, a proposed 200-room hotel in Gujarat’s Dholera Special Investment Region (SIR). The project aims to cater to the expected growth in industrial, commercial and investment activities in the region.
The groundbreaking ceremony was attended by former Gujarat Cabinet Minister Bhupendra Singh Chudasama and Dhandhuka MLA Kalubhai Dabhi. Sonale Zagade, General Manager at Hyatt Group, unveiled the hotel’s finalised design.
The proposed hotel will have approximately 2.6 lakh square feet of built-up area. It is expected to support business travellers, corporate visitors and professionals visiting Dholera for industrial and commercial activities.
Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel also visited GAP Group’s Akhilam Township, which includes the proposed hotel site, Avant coworking space and a food court. Senior state government officials and representatives of Dholera Industrial City Development were also present during the visit.
Connectivity improvements, including the Ahmedabad-Dholera Expressway and the proposed international airport, are expected to strengthen access to the region and support future demand for business travel and hospitality services.
The project reflects growing interest in hospitality infrastructure in Dholera as the region develops into an industrial and investment destination. The hotel is planned to serve the needs of businesses and visitors associated with its expanding economic activity.
