Chennai-based TVS Industrial & Logistics Parks (TVS ILP) has leased 80,000 square feet of warehousing space at its facility in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, to ATC Tires AP, a Yokohama Group company.
The warehouse has commenced operations and will function as a central hub for domestic distribution and export activities. It will handle Yokohama passenger car tyres and off-highway tyre products used in agriculture, construction, industrial operations and forestry.
The facility is expected to strengthen ATC Tires’ supply chain by improving distribution efficiency, supporting export operations and providing better connectivity to manufacturing and industrial centres across South and East India.
The new warehouse will play an important role in streamlining inventory management and ensuring the efficient movement of tyre products to domestic and international markets.
Commenting on the partnership, Jose Motha, General Manager of Supply Chain Management at Yokohama, said the collaboration with TVS ILP aims to strengthen logistics infrastructure and enhance operational efficiency.
The development highlights the growing demand for organised warehousing facilities in India, particularly among manufacturing companies seeking efficient supply chain solutions to support domestic and export markets.
