The Roads & Buildings Department, Gujarat, has invited bids for a major residential development project involving the construction of government housing towers across various sectors of Gandhinagar.
The proposed government housing project will comprise Category CH and CHH residential towers, together providing 560 government quarters. The development aims to expand the government housing capacity in Gandhinagar and provide accommodation for eligible government personnel.
The project will involve the construction of identified residential towers across multiple sectors of the city. With an estimated cost of Rs 216.19 crore, the development represents a significant government-led investment in strengthening residential infrastructure in Gujarat’s capital.
The initiative is expected to add substantial housing capacity while supporting the planned development of government residential facilities across Gandhinagar. It will also contribute to improving accommodation infrastructure for government employees posted in the city.
According to the tender schedule, interested and eligible bidders are required to submit their bids by 07 October 2026. The tender is expected to attract construction and infrastructure companies with the required technical and financial capabilities to execute large-scale residential projects.
The project marks a significant step towards enhancing government housing infrastructure and addressing the accommodation requirements of eligible government personnel in Gandhinagar.
