Italian manufacturer Marzocchi Pompe S.p.A. is strengthening its presence in India with the establishment of Marzocchi Pumps India Private Limited, a joint venture with its long-standing Indian partner, Dantal Hydraulics Private Limited. The new partnership is aimed at expanding the company’s commercial reach and strengthening its engagement with customers across India.
Marzocchi Pompe holds a 45% stake in the joint venture, while Dantal Hydraulics owns the remaining 55%. The partnership combines Marzocchi Pompe’s expertise in high-performance gear pumps and motors with Dantal Hydraulics’ understanding of the Indian market.
The company sees India as an important market for its international growth strategy, particularly across the construction machinery, industrial equipment and hydraulics sectors. A local commercial platform is expected to help Marzocchi respond more closely to customer requirements and develop new business opportunities.
The expansion was also highlighted during Bauma CONEXPO INDIA 2026, where Marzocchi Pompe showcased its portfolio of gear pumps and motors for industrial, mobile and automotive applications. The company also presented developments from its Elika range, including a reversible pump version covered by an Italian industrial patent.
With the new joint venture, Marzocchi Pompe is combining Italian engineering capabilities with local market expertise to build a stronger presence in India’s growing hydraulics and machinery ecosystem.
