The 16th Beijing International Construction Machinery Exhibition & Seminar (BICES 2025) has officially opened its doors, drawing a record 1,300 global exhibitors and positioning itself as one of the largest showcases of next-generation construction and mining machinery in Asia.
Hosted at the China International Exhibition Center (New Venue), this year’s event focuses on innovation, sustainability, and digital transformation in heavy machinery. Leading global and domestic manufacturers — including XCMG, SANY, Zoomlion, Komatsu, Caterpillar, Volvo Construction Equipment, and Hitachi Construction Machinery (soon to be LANDCROS) — unveiled cutting-edge equipment featuring automation, AI integration, and zero-emission power systems.
With the theme “Smart Machinery, Building the Future”, BICES 2025 highlights intelligent construction, electrification, green energy solutions, and advanced telematics for site management. A dedicated Smart Construction Zone demonstrates real-time digital monitoring, drone-assisted surveying, and autonomous excavation systems, showcasing how technology is reshaping the industry.
Organizers expect over 200,000 visitors from 70 countries, including government delegations, contractors, infrastructure developers, and equipment distributors. The event also features technical seminars on topics such as hydrogen-powered equipment, lithium-ion battery innovation, and sustainable mining operations.
Industry experts say BICES 2025 reflects China’s and the global industry’s rapid transition toward environmentally responsible and digitally connected construction. “This year’s exhibition isn’t just about bigger machines — it’s about smarter, cleaner, and more efficient systems built for the future,” said a spokesperson for the China Construction Machinery Association (CCMA).
The four-day event will run until November 14, 2025, serving as a global platform for partnerships, technology exchange, and future-ready infrastructure solutions.
