Aditya Birla Real Estate has announced plans to develop a residential housing project in Hinjewadi, Pune, with an estimated revenue potential of ₹1,650 crore. The move marks another step in the company’s expansion in one of western India’s most active property markets.
The project will be undertaken by its subsidiary, Birla Estates, through a joint development agreement (JDA). Spread across approximately 5.62 acres, the proposed development will offer a total saleable area of around 1.25 million sq. ft. The JDA model allows the company to take up the project through a partnership arrangement rather than outright land acquisition, a route widely used by developers to manage capital requirements.
Hinjewadi is an established information technology and employment hub, home to a large working population. The area continues to attract residential development aimed at professionals and homebuyers looking to live closer to their workplaces.
