Gadkari to Inaugurate Indian Roads Congress in Bhubaneswar

Date:

India’s road infrastructure community is gearing up for a landmark event as Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways, Nitin Gadkari, is set to inaugurate the 84th Annual Session of the Indian Roads Congress (IRC) in Bhubaneswar from November 7 to 10, 2025.

The four-day event will bring together over 2,000 delegates and nearly 3,500 engineers, chief engineers and industry experts from across the country. The session aims to foster collaboration, share innovations and explore new technologies in road construction, maintenance and safety.

Key highlights include technical presentations, policy discussions and exhibitions showcasing the latest advancements in materials, digital monitoring and sustainable construction practices. With India rapidly expanding its national highway network, this year’s congress will focus on shifting from large-scale expansion to smarter, data-driven road management.

The Bhubaneswar edition of the IRC comes at a critical time, as India prioritizes safety, speed and sustainability in its infrastructure agenda. It’s a platform where ideas meet implementation; where policymakers, engineers and private sector leaders will together redefine the future of India’s transport ecosystem.

For companies and professionals involved in infrastructure, technology and turnkey project development, the IRC 2025 is more than just a conference—it’s a roadmap for the next phase of India’s connectivity revolution.
