Govt Greenlights 4-Lane Idar–Badoli Bypass Project

Date:

The government has approved the development of a 4-lane road along the Idar–Badoli Bypass in Gujarat, marking a significant step towards improving regional connectivity and reducing travel time. The project is set to streamline traffic flow, especially for heavy vehicles that currently clog narrow routes through towns.

This upgrade will not only improve transport infrastructure but also boost local economies by facilitating smoother movement of goods and people. The bypass will serve as a crucial alternative route, minimizing congestion within Idar city and surrounding areas.

Construction is expected to commence soon, with the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) overseeing the project. This move aligns with the government’s broader push to strengthen road networks across the country under the Bharatmala Pariyojana.
