Aragen Life Sciences, formerly known as GVK BIO, has established a new integrated high-potency development and manufacturing facility, Aragen OneHP, at its Nacharam campus in Hyderabad, Telangana.
Spread across 15,000 sq. ft., the facility brings together drug discovery, process development, scale-up and current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP) manufacturing under one roof. The integrated platform is designed to help customers move compounds from milligram-scale chemistry to multi-kilogram production more efficiently within a single location.
Aragen OneHP features a dedicated manufacturing line with an annual production capacity of 500 to 600 kg of active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs). The facility has been specifically designed to handle complex cytotoxic compounds and high-potency molecules used in targeted oncology treatments.
The new infrastructure is expected to strengthen Aragen Life Sciences’ capabilities in supporting pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies developing complex cancer therapies. By integrating multiple stages of drug development and manufacturing, the facility aims to improve operational efficiency and streamline the transition from early-stage research to commercial-scale production.
The inauguration of Aragen OneHP marks a significant addition to the company’s high-potency development and manufacturing capabilities. It also reinforces Hyderabad’s position as an important pharmaceutical and life sciences hub in India, supporting the growing demand for specialised drug development and advanced oncology treatments.
