Mumbai’s Coastal Road Sea Link Nears Completion, Sea-Facing Promenade Set to Open in 2025

Date:

Mumbai’s ambitious Coastal Road project is nearing completion, bringing the city closer to a modernized transport route along its iconic coastline. The much-awaited Coastal Road Sea Link, which will connect Marine Lines to Worli, is expected to significantly ease traffic congestion while offering breathtaking views of the Arabian Sea.

With work on the sea link advancing at a rapid pace, authorities have confirmed that the project will be ready for use by early next year. In addition to the sea link itself, a stunning sea-facing promenade will also be inaugurated, offering residents and visitors an idyllic space to enjoy the coastal landscape. The promenade, slated to open in 2025, will provide Mumbai’s citizens with a unique public space for recreation and relaxation, making the city’s coastline more accessible than ever before.

The Coastal Road project is not just about improving traffic flow—it’s also a key part of Mumbai’s vision to enhance urban infrastructure and connect its citizens to the natural beauty of its coastal regions. When completed, the entire stretch will serve as a vital artery for the city, cutting down travel times while boosting tourism and local businesses.
