The MHADA has announced the MHADA Lottery 2026, offering 2,640 housing units across various locations, with prices ranging from ₹29 lakh to ₹6.82 crore. The scheme aims to provide affordable as well as premium housing options for different income groups in Maharashtra.
According to officials, the lottery includes homes under multiple categories such as Economically Weaker Section (EWS), Lower Income Group (LIG), Middle Income Group (MIG), and High Income Group (HIG). The wide pricing range reflects the diversity of properties, from budget-friendly apartments to high-end residences in prime urban locations.
The MHADA lottery continues to attract strong interest due to its transparent allocation process and relatively lower prices compared to market rates. Eligible applicants can apply online within the specified deadline, after which a computerized draw will determine the allotment of homes.
Real estate experts note that such government-backed housing schemes play a key role in addressing urban housing demand and improving accessibility for homebuyers. With rising property prices in cities like Mumbai, the MHADA lottery provides a significant opportunity for individuals seeking affordable ownership options.
The lottery draw is expected to be conducted later this year.
