Infotech Integrates AI to Simplify Construction Bids

Date:

Infotech has unveiled “Bid Intelligence,” a new suite of AI-driven tools designed to streamline the bidding process for civil contractors. This innovative solution, integrated into Infotech’s state and local bidding platforms, aims to enhance how contractors analyze and prioritize project opportunities during the critical early stages of bidding.

The suite features three core tools: Recommender, Tagger, and Summarizer. The Recommender analyzes a contractor’s historical bidding data to suggest projects that match their preferred location and work type. Tagger automatically categorizes bid documents by asset type and work intent, enabling users to efficiently filter through large volumes of lettings. Finally, the Summarizer generates concise overviews of project documents, allowing contractors to quickly grasp the scope and context of potential bids without wading through extensive paperwork.

This launch comes at a time of rapid technological shift within the industry. According to the 2025 NBS Digital Construction Report, the adoption of artificial intelligence among construction professionals has surged from less than 10% in 2020 to over 40% in 2025. Infotech’s new tools position the company to support this growing demand for data-driven decision-making in construction management.
