Hyundai Construction Equipment is preparing for a major expansion of its product portfolio in 2026, introducing a range of new machines, advanced technologies and enhanced customer support solutions. The move reflects the company’s strategy to strengthen its presence across multiple construction equipment segments while addressing evolving customer needs.
Leading the expansion is Hyundai’s Next Generation crawler excavator range, powered by the company’s Stage V diesel engines. These machines offer improved performance, higher fuel efficiency, longer maintenance intervals and full electro-hydraulic (FEH) controls, enabling greater precision and enhanced operator comfort. The highly anticipated HX230L excavator is expected to join the lineup, further expanding Hyundai’s excavator portfolio.
Beyond excavators, Hyundai plans to introduce new compact equipment, including skid steer loaders, compact track loaders, additional compact excavators, demolition machines and heavy articulated dump trucks. This wider product offering is aimed at increasing the company’s reach across diverse construction and infrastructure applications.
Hyundai is also strengthening its aftermarket services by expanding its spare parts portfolio and enhancing its ProCare service solutions. The initiative includes extended support for owners of older machines, helping customers improve equipment uptime and reduce lifecycle costs.
Supporting this growth strategy, Hyundai has appointed Sanho Shin as CEO of its European construction equipment business. Backed by a broader product range, innovative technology and an expanded dealer and service network, Hyundai aims to capitalize on rising demand driven by infrastructure, housing and industrial development across key global markets.
