PWD Invites Bids for Integrated Infrastructure Project Under Silvassa Smart City Phase-III

Date:

The Public Works Department (PWD) of Dadra & Nagar Haveli has invited bids for an ambitious integrated infrastructure project under Silvassa Smart City Phase-III. The project aims to enhance urban infrastructure with the construction of cement concrete (CC) roads, ensuring long-term durability and better connectivity for the region.

The proposed project is slated for completion within 18 months, reflecting the administration’s commitment to expediting development initiatives. In addition to construction, the selected contractor will undertake a comprehensive maintenance responsibility during a defect liability period (DLP) of 10 years. This maintenance phase will commence from the official project completion or handing-over date, whichever is later, ensuring sustained infrastructure quality and serviceability.

This initiative is part of the Silvassa Smart City mission, which focuses on creating resilient, efficient, and sustainable urban spaces. The project is expected to significantly contribute to improved mobility and enhance the quality of life for residents.

Interested contractors are encouraged to submit their bids before the deadline on 14 December 2024. The tender process underscores a transparent and competitive approach to infrastructure development, inviting capable stakeholders to contribute to the vision of a smarter Silvassa.
