Pompano Beach, Florida, is witnessing a major transformation as the iconic Festival Flea Market site makes way for a state-of-the-art industrial complex. Foundry Commercial and Wheelock Street Capital have joined forces to develop Festival Logistics Park, acquiring the 26-acre Festival Marketplace at 2900 West Sample Road for $66 million.
The new industrial park will span approximately 475,000 square feet across three buildings ranging from 60,000 to 300,000 square feet, each featuring 32- to 36-foot clear heights, loading docks, and ESFR sprinkler systems.
Strategically located near the Florida Turnpike and Interstate 95, the development is positioned to serve more than 6.5 million residents within a two-hour radius, making it a prime hub for logistics, warehousing, and distribution tenants.
Demolition of the existing structures is slated to begin in late 2025, with project completion expected by the end of 2026. Stream Realty Partners has been appointed as the exclusive leasing agent, already marketing the space to national and regional tenants.
The flea market, which closed in 2025, had been a beloved retail destination for decades, though shifting consumer habits toward e-commerce ultimately sealed its fate and paved the way for this modern industrial redevelopment.
