L&T to Build Uzbekistan’s First AI-Enabled Data Center in Tashkent

Larsen & Toubro (L&T) has secured a significant contract to construct Uzbekistan’s first AI-enabled 10-megawatt data center in Tashkent. This cutting-edge facility will serve as a key milestone in the country’s digital transformation, integrating artificial intelligence with sustainable infrastructure.

The project, valued between Rs 10 billion and Rs 25 billion, highlights L&T’s expertise in advanced engineering and smart infrastructure. The data center is expected to support Uzbekistan’s growing demand for secure and efficient digital storage, catering to sectors such as finance, healthcare, and e-governance.
