Brenntag Expands Innovation Center in Navi Mumbai to Support Construction Industry, Expert Calls It a Strategic Move

Brenntag, a global leader in chemical and ingredients distribution, has announced the expansion of its Innovation and Application Center in Navi Mumbai, India, to bolster support for the country’s burgeoning construction industry. This enhancement introduces advanced formulation, testing, and development capabilities, building upon the center’s existing expertise in coatings, adhesives, sealants, and elastomers (CASE).

The upgraded facility is equipped with state-of-the-art laboratory facilities, including advanced testing equipment and analytical tools, aimed at accelerating the development of innovative construction solutions. Brenntag Specialties’ offerings encompass specialty minerals, chemicals, and colors designed for various applications such as building surfaces, walkways, driveways, fences, and landscape elements.

Abhijit Gavali, Director of Construction APAC at Brenntag Specialties, emphasized the strategic importance of this expansion, stating that it aligns with the company’s commitment to serving India’s growing construction sector. He highlighted that the Navi Mumbai center’s technical experts collaborate closely with suppliers and customers, leveraging Brenntag’s innovative concepts and formulations to deliver sustainable and high-performance solutions for construction applications.
