Inox Wind and KP Energy Form Construction-Focused Partnership to Develop 2.5 GW Clean Energy Projects

Date:

In a major boost to India’s clean energy ambitions, Inox Wind and KP Energy have entered into a strategic partnership to jointly develop 2.5 GW of wind and wind-solar hybrid projects across the country. The collaboration, formalised through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), brings together the technological strengths of Inox Wind and the project development expertise of KP Energy.

Under the agreement, Inox Wind will supply its wind turbine generators while providing engineering support and long-term operations and maintenance services. KP Energy will oversee project development and construction activities, including balance-of-plant works, EPC responsibilities, land acquisition, regulatory approvals, and grid connectivity.

The companies aim to accelerate India’s renewable energy transition by leveraging their complementary strengths — Inox Wind’s turbine technology and KP Energy’s on-ground construction and project execution capabilities. By integrating both competencies, the partnership is positioned to deliver large-scale clean energy projects more efficiently.

“This integrated approach ensures timely, seamless, and high-quality project execution,” a company spokesperson said, highlighting the collaboration’s importance in meeting India’s growing demand for sustainable power infrastructure.
