Goa to Lead AI-Driven Infrastructure and Digital Revolution: CM Sawant

Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant has emphasized the state’s commitment to spearheading an AI-driven infrastructure and digital revolution. Speaking at a recent event, Sawant highlighted the role of artificial intelligence in optimizing structural designs, automating construction processes, and enhancing project management.

The state is focusing on integrating smart infrastructure solutions, including AI-powered traffic management, energy-efficient buildings, and digital governance. Sustainable development remains a key priority, with AI-driven urban planning aimed at reducing environmental impact. Goa’s Startup and IT policies are fostering innovation in AI-based solutions across sectors, including construction and real estate.

To build a skilled workforce, AI training programs are being introduced in educational institutions and technical colleges. Sawant envisions a future where AI-powered robots assist in construction, automated 3D printing reduces material wastage, and AI-driven climate modeling helps design resilient structures.

Urging young professionals to embrace AI, Sawant emphasized the need for upskilling in machine learning, data science, and AI tools. These efforts align with Goa’s vision of becoming a technologically advanced, sustainable state, leading the way in AI-driven infrastructure development.
