The investment brings the company’s total funding to $38 million, marking strong investor confidence in the future of smart construction technology.
Xpanner’s innovative model allows construction companies to upgrade their existing machinery with autonomous capabilities instead of replacing expensive equipment. Through its flagship X1 Kit, the company retrofits heavy construction machines with robotics, physical AI, and software-driven automation, enabling tasks such as trenching, piling, grading, and material handling.
The company’s subscription-based “Automation-as-a-Service” model offers a cost-effective path for contractors to adopt advanced automation while improving efficiency, reducing project timelines, and lowering operational costs.
Originally founded in South Korea and now headquartered in California, Xpanner has already attracted major industry clients including Mortenson, Black & Veatch, and QCells. The startup has also demonstrated strong financial growth, with revenue increasing significantly over the past three years.
The fresh capital will be used to accelerate development of next-generation AI-powered hardware and software platforms, strengthening Xpanner’s position in the rapidly evolving construction technology sector and pushing the industry toward smarter, more efficient job site operations.
