At the UP Logistics & Supply Chain Summit 2025 held in Noida, the state government highlighted its commitment to boosting infrastructure and economic growth. Organised by UPSIDA and CII, the summit showcased how Uttar Pradesh is emerging as a major logistics and warehousing hub.

UPSIDA CEO Mayur Maheshwari noted that the state’s per capita income has doubled over the last 7–8 years, thanks to strategic development. He credited the expansion of expressways and rapid industrialisation in Noida as key contributors.

Several major companies are investing in the region. AB Mauri has set up a modern yeast production unit, while Ashok Leyland has launched an electric vehicle manufacturing facility in the state.

Invest UP CEO Shashank Chaudhury emphasized the government’s focus on pushing key sectors such as warehousing and logistics through policy support and alignment with national infrastructure initiatives.

CII Western UP representative Pranay S. Garg predicted logistics demand in UP could reach 15.6 trillion tonne-km by 2050. Industry leaders stressed the need for better collaboration between government bodies, industry players, and logistics providers.

The summit also introduced “Logistics Vision 2030,” aiming to digitalize supply chains and contribute to Uttar Pradesh’s target of becoming a one-trillion-dollar economy.
