Sunsure Energy, a renewable energy solutions provider known for delivering round-the-clock clean power, has secured ₹606.22 crore in debt financing to support the development and refinancing of multiple solar power projects across India. The funding has been arranged through Aseem Infrastructure Finance and RBL Bank, strengthening the company’s plan to expand its renewable energy portfolio.
Out of the total amount, ₹461.76 crore has been financed by Aseem Infrastructure Finance for new solar projects located in Maharashtra and Uttar Pradesh. In addition, ₹144.46 crore has been provided by RBL Bank for refinancing Sunsure’s existing solar project at Augasi in Uttar Pradesh. The funding will help the company accelerate its clean energy initiatives in major industrial regions.
With the new investment, Sunsure Energy plans to develop more than 242 MWp of solar capacity under long-term Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) with commercial and industrial consumers. These projects are expected to help businesses shift to cost-effective and sustainable energy solutions, reducing dependence on conventional power sources.
The financing also highlights Sunsure’s growing partnership with RBL Bank while further strengthening its ongoing collaboration with Aseem Infrastructure Finance, supporting the company’s long-term vision of expanding reliable renewable energy across India.
