Prime Minister Narendra Modi will meet with his UK counterpart, Keir Starmer, in Mumbai on October 9, 2025, as part of a two-day visit to Maharashtra to launch major infrastructure projects and deepen India-UK cooperation.
During the visit, Modi will inaugurate the first phase of the ₹19,650 crore Navi Mumbai International Airport, India’s largest greenfield airport, symbolizing the nation’s push to become a global aviation hub.
He will also dedicate to the nation the final stretch of Mumbai Metro Line‑3, enhancing metro connectivity across the city, and unveil “Mumbai One” — a unified mobility app integrating multiple public transport operators.
The Modi-Starmer discussions will focus on bolstering trade, investment, fintech, and broader strategic partnership areas under the India–UK Comprehensive Strategic Partnership, including agreements already signed under the 2025 trade deal.
The joint agenda underscores India’s ambition to combine fast-growing infrastructure deployment with international collaboration, aligning economic growth with global standards and innovation.
